For instance, a straightforward approach involves clicking and dragging from a source socket to an empty area within the canvas, instantly generating and linking a new node.

Alternatively, developers can establish connections by dragging a source socket and aligning it with a target socket of another node, simplifying the integration process within the workflow.

Connecting your first node

By default, upon creating a new workflow within the canvas, you'll be presented with something similar to the following layout:

Indeed, adding your initial node is as simple as clicking on "Add Node" and selecting the desired node type from the available options.

Connecting a node dragging from a source socket

The simplest method to connect a new node in ION is by dragging a source socket to an empty space on the canvas.
