Are you planning to build your next great software, but not sure what platform to build it on? Look no further and use our GitHub integration.
GitHub is one of the largest and most-advanced development platforms available today. It allows developers to build, ship, and maintain their software.
Just a simple fact that 72% of Fortune 50 companies are using GitHub speaks for itself. So, don't wait and turn that brilliant idea of yours into an incredible piece of software with GitHub!
Github has one token type that we use on our platform - Personal Access Token. It is very straightforward to get:
Login to your Github account.
Go to your profile settings that are on the top right of the page, inside the dropdown menu.
From there, go to the Developer Settings tab which is located at the bottom of the left-side menu.
Go to the Personal Access Tokens tab.
Click Generate new token.
Required:
Set expiry date to "No expiration". Otherwise, you will need to provide us with a new token each time your previous one expires
Check all permissions you want. Keep in mind that the more permissions you include in your token, the more you will be able to do with the integrations on our platform
If you need a more detailed explanation of this token type please refer to Github documentation. To understand where to find the tokens, please check out our video on the Github integration page regarding this topic.
